"Bush" is Funded and Currently Casting

QED has agreed to finance Oliver Stone's drama Bush. Production is set to begin in April, which means that the film could defiantly be in theaters by  the time Bush leaves office in January, and possibly even by the November elections.

Josh Brolin is finalizing a deal to play President Bush. Brolin, who has recently starred in No Country for Old Men and American Gangster. He will likely start work on  Bush after he finishes his work Milk. Meanwhile, Stone is already casting the other roles in the film, which include Laura Bush and George H.W. Bush.
Stone is aiming for a fair portrait of Bush, similar to Nixon. The film will cover Bush's transformation from a substance-abusing underachiever through a conversion to Christianity. Stone said it will deal with Bush's belief that God wanted him to be president, and the story leads up to the invasion of Iraq. Source
